The Casa Turrent 1880 Rosado Gordito is part of the renowned 1880 series and represents the “middle” stage within the color spectrum of the line. Like all cigars in this series, it is made from tobaccos aged for at least five years (wrapper) and up to 10–12 years (filler). The Rosado variant is distinguished by its reddish-brown wrapper and offers a bridge between the smoothness of the Claro and the intensity of the Oscuro. The flavor profile is medium-bodied and defined by a complex balance between spicy and sweet notes. Dominant aromas include roasted coffee beans, leather, and a refined cedar wood spice. The experience is complemented by a characteristic nuttiness and a subtle, creamy sweetness reminiscent of caramel. The Rosado is considered one of the most balanced blends in the series.
