Handmade greetings card: “Die cut photo frame – flowers”

Description This is an A6 greetings card which could be used for any occasion, since it can be used as a gift as well as a card. I think it’s a nice enough card that the recipient will want to frame it – that’s certainly what I’d do if I received one containing a photo of a loved one! I’ve die cut and embossed copper foiled card (the photo doesn’t really do the colour justice but it’s not an easy one to photograph due to its reflectiveness – you’ll just have to trust me that it’s copper coloured!) and set this onto a turquoise background with an opening at the top for you to slide in your photograph.  The embossed pattern is of flowers and hearts which has a kind of retro 1970s feel. The white card in the main aperture can be removed and used as a template for cutting your own photo to the correct size. The template is held in place by a ‘sticky dot’ which you can use to fix your photo into place, preventing it from slipping down when the card is standing. The sticky dot is tacky enough to achieve this, but if you want you can remove it without ruining the card. The card measures 10.5cm x 14.8cm and is supplied with a white envelope.
